Watercolor commission from Hero's Con. Client had me do this in his sketchbook that had one of the best collection of commissioned work I've ever seen. I wish I could remember every one who was in it but I do remember the Whilce Portacio pic sets the bar early into the book which prompted Larry Elmore to set it higher. So several other bad-asses later, just after Adam Hughes, I humbly submitted this.
This may very well have been the most nervous I've been about doing a piece of work. I was very flattered to have contributed to it (really, I tried to talk him outta it twice) and hope to have a career that sets me equal to those before me.
